Dr. Ángel Cuevas received his MSc in Telecommunication Engineering, MSc in Telematics Engineering, and Ph.D. in Telematics Engineering from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid in 2006, 2007, and 2011 respectively. He is currently an Associate Professor in the Telematic Engineering Department at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. His research interests are focused on Internet Measurements, Web Transparency, Privacy, Data4Good and Sustainability. He is co-author of more than 70 papers in prestigious international journals and conferences such as CACM, PNAS, IEEE/ACM Transactions on Networking, ACM Transactions on Sensor Networks, IEEE Network, IEEE Communications Magazine, WWW, ACM CONEXT, ACM CHI and USENIX Security. He is recipient of the Best Paper Award in ACM MSWiM 2010, the 2018 Emilio Aced Research Prize granted by the Spanish Data Protection Agency, and again the 2022 Emilio Aced Accost Research Prize. Dr. Cuevas research has been highligted in more than 200 news outlets including Financial Times, The Sunday Times, Le Figaro, Newscientists, TVE, La Sexta, Antena 3, Cadena Ser, Cadena Cope, RNE, El País, El Mundo, El Diario, etc.
